The world's first Pokemon-themed airport will open on July 7, 2026, at Noto Satoyama Airport in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. The airport will be renamed "Noto Satoyama Pokemon With You Airport" for the duration of the collaboration, which is scheduled to run until September 2029.

Airport renamed for Pokemon collaboration

The airport will feature giant Pikachu displays and 111 hidden Flying-type Pokemon for visitors to find. Themed food, exclusive merchandise, and sightseeing buses are also part of the experience.

The collaboration is part of Pokemon's tourism and recovery support for the Noto region following the 2024 earthquake.

The Pokemon Company has not confirmed additional details about the event.
