World of Warcraft unofficial port on Android lets you play the MMORPG on mobile and portable devices. This is interesting because it opens up a new channel to playing World of Warcraft on mobile devices. This is important because it opens up the possibility of reaching out to a new potential audience for the game outside of the traditional PC and consoles. It's an unofficial port called WoW Forever and it shows that the 3D world of World of Warcraft can be played on mobile silicon as long as you have a high end device.

Community launcher demonstrates mobile gaming potential
A developer named jaredgei developed an unofficial launcher for World of Warcraft: Forever beta on Android. The software supports Android 10 or later. There are some specific requirements for hardware to run the game well. It has been shown to run on an AYN Thor portable console and also on a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 phone. This shows that the game can run on modern mobile gaming devices.
Benchmarks show that the game runs at about 60 fps in not so populated areas which means that you can enjoy exploration of the open world with a good performance. However in more populated cities the game will only reach about 40 fps due to more graphical demand of more populated cities. The minimum requirement is a Snapdragon 8-series chip and Adreno 7xx or 8xx graphics. This ensures that your device will have the processing power to run the game.
The beta access to the unofficial port will end on October 21. This means that you only have a limited time to try the game out and see how it works. It's not entirely clear that there is a 'World of Warcraft: Forever' beta version. It's an unofficial launcher according to the source. This makes it seem like it might be some sort of community mod or experimental port instead of something official from Blizzard.
In our last World of Warcraft update we talked about some of the same balancing and stability issues. This shows that even in other platforms there are concerns about performance by players. The Android port of the game is unofficial and has no official support or warranty. You should know this before trying out the unofficial port of the game. It's more a proof of concept for what can be done with mobile gaming than a full product that's ready to play.
