WiCi is launching the WiCi One, the first wireless external GPU enclosure designed to bring desktop-class graphics power to laptops without cables. WiCi states that the theoretical maximum PHY rate for its specific Wi-Fi 7 configuration is about 11.5 Gbps. This figure is lower than the 46 Gbps theoretical limit of the Wi-Fi 7 standard and significantly below Thunderbolt speeds. The company argues that protocol optimizations mitigate this difference to maintain smooth gaming performance. A higher-end model featuring an RTX 5090 and Intel Core Ultra 7 255H is currently in development.

Early access pricing for the WiCi One is set at 1999 USD (around $1,999). The price will increase to 2599 USD (around $2,599) after the early access period ends. Shipping is scheduled to begin in Q4. The device is positioned as a shared compute solution for multiple devices, according to WiCi.
