The global variant of the Vivo X Fold 6 has taken a concrete step toward market availability by securing certification in Indonesia. This regulatory approval signals that the company is preparing to ship the device outside of China, a move that matters to international buyers who have been waiting for a confirmed release window. The certification confirms the existence of the international model and moves the product closer to retail shelves.

The device, identified by model number V2559, is a foldable smartphone that mirrors the specifications of the Chinese variant unveiled last month. It features an 8.02-inch LTPO AMOLED inner display and a 6.53-inch LTPO AMOLED cover screen. Both panels support a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and offer up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness for clear visibility in direct sunlight.

Under the hood, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. It pairs this processor with up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of storage for high-end performance and ample space. The device houses a 7,000mAh BlueVolt battery that supports 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging to keep the large screen powered.

The camera system includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ZEISS APO periscope telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Users get a 20-megapixel sensor on the inner screen and another 20-megapixel camera on the outside for selfies. The phone runs OriginOS 6 Fold-based Android 16 and offers IP58 and IP59 levels of dust and water resistance for durability.

Vivo previously certified the device in Europe under the same model number in April and unveiled the Chinese version last month. At present, there is no information about the X Fold 6’s global launch timeframe, though some vague reports suggest that its India arrival could be delayed to October this year.
