Vivo has introduced a new 4G variant of its V70 Lite smartphone, and this change matters because it swaps a faster processor for a much larger battery. Buyers who prioritize long battery life over 5G connectivity now have a dedicated option that extends usage time significantly. The device appears in Eurasian markets in Blue and White colors, offering a practical alternative to the previous 5G model.

Swap 5G connectivity for significantly longer battery life in new variant

The Vivo V70 Lite 4G runs on the entry-level Unisoc T7300 chipset, which differs from the processor found in the earlier 5G version. It pairs this chip with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM to handle daily multitasking. The phone ships with OriginOS 6, which is built on top of Android 16, ensuring it runs the latest software foundation.

Specifications

  • Battery: 8,100mAh
  • Chipset: Unisoc T7300
  • RAM: 8GB LPDDR4X
  • Display: 6.83-inch AMOLED 120Hz
  • Durability: IP69

A standout feature is the 8,100mAh battery, which is substantially larger than the 6,500mAh unit in the 5G model. This capacity supports 44W wired fast charging to replenish power relatively quickly. The device also carries an IP69 rating, providing robust protection against dust and high-pressure water jets.

The screen is a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Photography is handled by a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the back, while a 32MP camera covers selfies. Storage options include 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 memory.

Vivo has not yet announced the phone’s price or provided a complete launch schedule for all markets. The device is currently starting to appear in Eurasian markets, but global availability details remain unconfirmed. Users should check local retailers for current stock and pricing information.
