Entire team departs leaving PS5 and PC title without support

The developer behind the project initiated a redundancy procedure shortly after the game’s release. This internal restructuring led directly to the studio’s closure and the departure of the entire team. Game designer Raúl Pernía Alejandro confirmed the details of the shutdown via a thread on X.

Crisol: Theater of Idols was published by Blumhouse Games and released in February 2026. The title became available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. It previously earned a Verified Badge, indicating initial compatibility with handheld hardware.

Raúl Pernía Alejandro stated that the project has reached the players, but the studio could not move forward. The closure follows a redundancy procedure initiated a few months after the game's launch. The entire team has now departed the studio, leaving no internal resources for updates or support.
