Axel Vatira secured his fourth major title during the event and earned tournament MVP honors. Alexandre Extra Paoli became the first former player to win a Rocket League Major as a coach for his team.
The victory sparked debate over whether Vatira should be considered among the greatest players of all time despite lacking a World Championship title. He reached the semi-finals in 2022-23, 2024, and 2025 but has yet to win the championship event.
Vatira previously won four major titles alongside an Esports World Cup victory and a FIFAe championship before this latest achievement.
