V Rising received a significant update on May 26 when Stunlock Studios released version 1.1.13, also known as Patch 1.113. This update adjusts multiple gameplay aspects based on community input for both PvP and PvE scenarios.

Stunlock Studios resolves recurring gameplay issues with targeted balance adjustments across multiple vampire abilities.

The developer targeted specific mechanics to improve balance across different playstyles. The update adjusts cooldowns, damage penalties, and healing values for several abilities used by vampires in the game.

Corrupted Blood ghosts can no longer trigger counters or cause fatal blows. The update resolves a recurring problem impacting PvP and PvE gameplay by modifying Corrupted Blood mechanics. The patch also reduces dash speed for these entities to limit their mobility on the map.

Sanguine Coil receives a dual adjustment to projectile speed and healing output. Developers reduced the default projectile speed by 20 percent while increasing ally healing from 14 to 30 percent up to a new range of 20 to 40 percent. The ability cooldown increased from six seconds to seven seconds.

Wraith Spear cancel cast penalties now scale higher when targeting multiple enemies. Jewel effects apply an eight to sixteen percent penalty per target, up from the previous six to ten percent range. The patch also buffs area-of-effect jewel bonuses for this weapon.

Veil of Storm, Veil of Chaos, Wisp Dance, and Ice Block receive duration, dash speed, and shield adjustments. Blood Fountain initial healing increases to 55 percent while Cyclone bonus damage decreases.

Stunlock Studios released the update globally on May 26 across all platforms. Console players will see this download listed as V Rising update 1.113 in their respective storefronts.

Stunlock Studios implemented adjustments to address community-reported balance issues in recent gameplay scenarios. Stunlock Studios noted that Corrupted Blood mechanics created recurring issues in both PvP and PvE contexts, prompting direct changes to counter triggers and fatal blow conditions.
