Two Point Studios has released a free collaboration update for Two Point Museum that brings the quirky world of Little Kitty, Big City into the game. This crossover matters to players who enjoy the base game's simulation mechanics because it introduces a completely new visual style and gameplay loop without requiring a separate purchase. The update allows fans of both franchises to merge their collections in a single, cohesive experience.

Free update brings Little Kitty, Big City rift to Two Point Museum
The core of this release is a new Digiverse Rift that serves as the gateway to the Little Kitty, Big City universe. Players can step through this portal to explore a dedicated area filled with familiar characters and environments from the indie hit. Two Point Studios designed this rift to feel like a natural extension of the museum's existing exploration mechanics while offering a distinct aesthetic break from the standard museum layouts.
Inside the rift, players can visit three specific Points of Interest that require exploration and interaction. The update includes collectible Shinies that players must find to progress, along with new exhibits such as the Little City Diorama. These elements add variety to the museum management gameplay by introducing new items to curate and display for visiting guests.
For those looking for more content, the paid DLC 'Rides & Relics' is also available now. This expansion adds Funfair-themed attractions, including new coasters, and introduces a fresh museum location to build. The update and DLC support PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam, ensuring broad accessibility across current generation consoles and personal computers.
Two Point Studios stated, "The Little Kitty, Big City rift is open for exploration (and mischief) in Two Point Museum right MEOW, available on all platforms." This release follows the pattern of previous collaborations, such as the Cult of the Lamb update, which also introduced themed content and stability improvements to the game. Players can now choose to engage with the new rift for free or purchase the additional Funfair content for a more extensive experience.
