Saber Interactive released the Urban Blight update for Toxic Commando on June 18. This patch introduces a new mission and several gameplay additions to the existing title. Players can now access fresh content through patch version 1.007.100.
New mission and gear arrive in patch 1.007.100 for the shooter
The update centers on the Urban Blight mission, which takes place in the ruins of Rockbridge. This new environment provides a distinct setting for the latest gameplay challenges. The mission serves as the primary focus for players engaging with this release.
Developers added a new airborne enemy called the Hornet to the game. This enemy features unique grab-and-drop mechanics that change how players approach combat. The update also brings five new weapons to the arsenal. These include the Salvo MGL, Heartstopper Carabine LAC, and Precision BAR Gen 1 as primary options. Players can also equip the Thundershot OEP secondary weapon, the Obsidian OEP heavy weapon, and the Sludgebane melee weapon.
Two new vehicles join the roster with the Thrasher APC and a standard Forklift. The update supports cross-platform save transfer via cloud save functionality. This allows players to sync their progress between different platforms. Quality of life improvements include a bot pathfinding fix and a Mark all as seen button for notifications.
