Tom Kane, the voice actor known for roles in Star Wars and Call of Duty, died on May 18, 2026. The cause was complications from a stroke he suffered in 2020.
Kane voiced Yoda, Admiral Ackbar, and many more.
Kane voiced iconic characters including Yoda, Admiral Ackbar, Boba Fett, and Qui-Gon Jinn in the Star Wars franchise. He also voiced Jim Gordon in Batman, Takeo Masaki in Call of Duty, Dr. Schuster in various games, and Magneto in animated series.
Zach McGinnis, a colleague, said: "Though his voice may now be silent, the characters, stories, and love he gave to the world will live on forever."
Kane's death was reported by TMZ. The actor's family has not released further details about memorial arrangements.
