Friday Sundae is bringing its horror title There Are No Ghosts at the Grand to PC players this December. The game enters Early Access, giving buyers a chance to shape the final experience as development continues. This launch marks the first time the full title is available for purchase outside of demo periods.

Billy Boyd voices MacBrushy as the horror title prepares for launch

The game features MacBrushy, a talking and singing Scottish power tool voiced by Billy Boyd. Boyd, known for his role in The Lord of the Rings, describes the character as funny, rude, and hiding hidden depths. Players will hear the character sing songs as the story develops, adding a unique layer to the horror atmosphere.

There Are No Ghosts at the Grand launches on and the Microsoft Store. The team is releasing a new demo in October for Steam Next Fest to let players test the current build. A full release is also planned for Xbox Series consoles alongside the PC versions.

Billy Boyd noted that working with the developer allowed them to develop the character's voice and personality in detail. He mentioned that the character has secrets that reveal themselves as the story progresses. The Early Access period will allow players to experience these narrative layers before the full launch.
