Ubisoft is updating The Division 2 with the TUY8S2.2 patch and a new limited-time event starting July 21. Players who log in during the Dust Storm event can claim exclusive gear without spending extra money. The update also makes the Warlords of New York expansion free to access for the duration of the event. This gives players a chance to experience the full story and endgame content at no additional cost.

The Dust Storm event runs from July 21 through August 11. New enemies called Dust Devils will appear in the open world. Players will also face two new bosses named Pall and Black Lung. These encounters add fresh challenges to the existing gameplay loop.
All players receive the Parched Mask simply by logging in during the event. The event also introduces the Rabid D50 named pistol as a new weapon. Players can earn 43 additional cosmetic items through event activities. These rewards provide visual customization options for your character.
The maintenance duration might exceed the five-hour estimate due to past precedents. Ubisoft has noted that updates sometimes take longer than scheduled. Players should be prepared for potential delays in server restoration. The update officially starts today for global players.
