Rebel Wolves has lowered the PC system requirements for The Blood of Dawnwalker, a move that allows players with older hardware to run the game. This adjustment matters because it expands the potential player base to include those who previously could not meet the minimum standards. The update targets buyers who want to experience the dark fantasy setting without needing a high-end graphics card.
Rebel Wolves adjusts minimum GPU to expand player access
The game is a single-player open-world action RPG built on Unreal Engine 5. It focuses on vampire lore and features a global release scheduled for September 3. Bandai Namco will publish the title, bringing the developer’s vision to a wider audience on PC platforms.
The new minimum GPU requirement has dropped to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or an AMD Radeon RX 580. Players still need an Intel Core i5-11400F or an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X processor along with 16GB of RAM. The game also requires 60GB of free disk space to install and run properly.

Rebel Wolves recommends using an Intel Core i7-11700K or an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X for the best experience. The recommended GPU list now includes an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, an AMD Radeon RX 7600XT, or an Intel Arc B580. The CPU and RAM requirements remain identical to the April 2026 announcement, meaning only the graphics card needs have changed.
The updated PC specs do not list any specific framerates, resolution targets, or graphics settings. The developers stated that detailed requirements and presets will be shared later after final optimization is complete. This lack of specific performance metrics means players should expect standard stability rather than guaranteed frame rates at launch.
When we covered the last the blood of dawnwalker update, several of the same balance and stability themes came up. The current changes focus on accessibility rather than content, ensuring the game runs on a broader range of systems. Players can look forward to the September 3 release with more flexible hardware options.
