System 3 is bringing the retro espionage of James Pond to modern consoles with a comprehensive collection launching in October. This release matters because it preserves twelve distinct versions of four classic titles that were originally scattered across legacy hardware like the Amiga 500 and Super . Players who grew up with these games or collectors seeking rare formats will finally have a unified way to access this specific corner of gaming history.

Collector's edition limited to 6,000 physical copies

The collection is titled The James Pond Legacy: The Pond Is Not Enough and serves as a digital and physical archive for the series. It includes James Pond: Underwater Agent, James Pond 2: RoboCod, James Pond 3: Operation Starfish, and The Aquatic Games Starring James Pond and the Aquabats. The package also introduces a new interactive hub called the Pondverse to help users navigate the diverse library of content.

System 3 is releasing the game for in both physical and digital formats. A version exists as a digital release after receiving a rating in Germany, though it was not part of the initial announcement. The collection spans versions originally built for the Amiga 500, SEGA Mega Drive, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and Commodore 64. It supports English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish languages to accommodate a global audience.
