SteelSeries has released the Arctis Nova Omni, a new wireless gaming headset positioned between the existing Nova Pro and Nova Elite models. The company announced the product today, describing it as a master key for Hi-res Wireless certified audio and multi-system control.
The headset features 40mm drivers rated for a frequency range of 10 to 40kHz. It supports audio sampling up to 96kHz at 24-bit depth, making it the second SteelSeries headset to achieve official Hi-Res Audio certification. Both the Nova Omni and the Nova Elite share this distinction. The drivers are rated at less than 1% total harmonic distortion.
Connectivity includes a wireless PC dongle, native support for PS5, Xbox, and Switch, plus Bluetooth and analog line in/out. A GameHub allows simultaneous connection to five devices and listening to four of them at once. SteelSeries claims the new omnidirectional microphone with AI noise cancelling reduces up to 96% of background noise. This performance claim is up to 30 times better than other gaming headsets. The headset includes two swappable batteries for continuous use and offers over 200 game-specific audio presets via a companion app.
The Arctis Nova Omni is available globally starting today. Pricing is set at 399.99 USD (about $400) in the United States. The cost is 349.99 GBP (about $474) in the UK and 399.99 EUR (about $468) in the EU.
SteelSeries has not confirmed the specific launch window for regional retailers beyond the global announcement date.
