Shelly Wall Display Gets Multi-Dashboard Support in Firmware 2.7.0 Beta
ACCESSORIES

Shelly's Wall Display lineup gains multi-dashboard support with firmware version 2.7.0 beta. The update lets users control multiple smart home devices from a single screen without reaching for a smartphone.

Three models gain dashboard views

The feature works on three Wall Display models: the X2, X2i, and XL. The XL supports up to five dashboards, while the X2 and X2i each handle three.

Dashboards can manage lights, sockets, AC, and heating. Users can switch between views to monitor different rooms or device groups. The beta is available now, but downgrading to the previous 2.6.2 firmware is not possible after updating.

Pricing and performance notes

The XL model currently sells for 350 USD (about $350). Pricing for the X2 and X2i was not provided.

Some users have reported slow response times when using the Wall Display with Home Assistant. Keeping dashboards tidy may help improve performance.

The effectiveness of multiple dashboards in daily use remains unclear. Shelly has not announced a stable release date for the firmware.
