Sharp AQUOS R11 Launches in Japan with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and Leica Cameras

Sharp launched the AQUOS R11 flagship smartphone in Japan, featuring a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, Leica- tuned triple rear cameras, 6.5- inch 3600 nits OLED display, 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, and 5100mAh battery.

Sharp has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the AQUOS R11, in Japan. The device combines a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor with Leica-tuned cameras, aiming to compete at the high end of the market.

Leica-tuned triple cameras and Pro IGZO OLED display

The AQUOS R11 features a 6.5-inch Pro IGZO OLED display with a 2340×1080 resolution and a peak brightness of 3600 nits. Under the hood, it packs 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The triple rear camera setup includes a 50.3MP main sensor, a 50.3MP ultrawide, and a 38.5MP telephoto lens, all supervised by Leica. The front-facing camera also uses a 50.3MP sensor.

A 5100mAh battery supports 36W wired charging. The phone offers Bluetooth 6.0 and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and carries IPX5, IPX8, IPX9, and IP6X durability ratings. It measures 156 x 74 x 8.9 mm and weighs 195 grams.

Sales begin July 9 in Japan. Sharp has not yet announced the price for the unlocked version.
