SEGA has released an official combat overview trailer for its upcoming title STRANGER THAN HEAVEN. The game originates from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the development team behind the Yakuza series.
Game features dynamic combat mechanics and era-based settings across five cities
The project places players in the role of Makoto Daito. You will navigate a version of Japan that may have existed in another life altogether across five sprawling cities. Each city draws inspiration from real locations corresponding to its specific historical era.
Combat mechanics allow you to move your character's left and right sides independently during attacks and defense sequences. The system emphasizes raw brutality and an ever-changing flow designed to feel alive. Players will master and enhance a wide array of weapons including knives, hammers, and katanas as they progress through violent eras.
The game utilizes Denuvo anti-tamper technology on PC platforms. SEGA has not announced specific pricing or availability windows for the title. Developers have confirmed there is currently no estimated release date for when STRANGER THAN HEAVEN will launch.
