Atari and developer Springloaded are bringing back the theme park building genre with RollerCoaster Wonderworks. This title targets fans of simulation games who want a fresh take on classic park management. The project aims to update the formula with modern physics and chaotic ride mechanics.

Springloaded game launches in Early Access this winter

The game serves as a reimagined theme park builder simulation rather than a direct sequel. It launches first in Early Access on PC via . Players will manage two distinct parks called Hollow Creek and Forest Frontiers. The full release will expand to consoles after the PC launch.

A key technical feature is a new physics engine that allows for ride destruction and chaos. This system changes how players design coasters by introducing realistic failure modes. The Early Access version costs $24.99 or €24.99. This price point sets the entry cost for the initial build.

Atari has not announced a specific release date for the winter launch window. The Early Access phase begins this winter on Steam. A full release is planned for both PC and consoles following the Early Access period. Players can expect the simulation to evolve as development continues.
