Redmi is reportedly preparing a compact gaming smartphone that could change the handheld market. The Turbo 6 Max targets players who want console-sized screens in a pocketable form factor. A 7-inch display offers more screen real estate than typical phones without the bulk of a tablet.

The device will reportedly run on a MediaTek Dimensity 9-series chipset. We do not know the exact model number yet, but the series suggests high-end performance. Some earlier reports suggested a 3nm process, though that detail remains unconfirmed in the latest tip.
Redmi Turbo 6 Max Rumored Specifications
- Display Size: 7-inch
- Display Resolution: 2K

- Chipset: Dimensity 9-series
- Battery Capacity: 10,000mAh-class
Battery life looks promising with a 10,000mAh-class power cell inside the chassis. The screen will be a 2K resolution flat panel, avoiding the glare of curved edges. Redmi is also adding an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for faster unlocking.
