Chained Echoes is a story-driven single-player JRPG where heroes travel across the continent of Valandis to end a war between three kingdoms. The game features 16-bit Golden Era style graphics and includes elements like dragons and piloted mechanical suits. Players can take up swords, channel magic, or board mechs while exploring diverse landscapes ranging from wind-tanned plateaus to sunken cities.
MLB The Show 26 offers immersive gameplay with new stadium effects and evolved features for Road To The Show and Diamond Dynasty modes. PlayStation Plus members receive exclusive access to the MLB The Show 26 Jump Start Bundle, which unlocks 5 The Show Packs, 1 Equipment Pack, and the Jumpstart Choice Pack. Sniper Elite: Resistance provides co-op campaign play and Axis Invasion mode, while Wobbly Life supports solo or local split-screen co-op with customizable arcade modes.
We looked at the last PlayStation Plus update earlier, and several of the same balance and stability themes came up in this month's selection. The inclusion of both legacy PS4 titles and current-gen PS5 games demonstrates Sony's continued commitment to maintaining a broad library for all subscribers. These additions round out the mid-2026 catalog with strong standalone experiences and established franchises.
All four titles become available to PlayStation Plus subscribers globally on September 1, 2026. The Jump Start Bundle for MLB The Show 26 remains available on the PlayStation Store for a limited time to help players customize their experience. Subscribers can download and play these games immediately once the date arrives, with no further cost required.
