Peladn has released the WI-7 mini PC in China, offering a compact computing option for users who need a small footprint without sacrificing connectivity. This palm-sized device targets buyers who prioritize portability and multiple display outputs in a low-cost package. The system ships with an Intel Pentium Gold processor and supports up to three external monitors through its USB-C port.
Compact Intel Pentium device ships with triple-display support
The hardware centers on the Intel Pentium Gold 7505, a two-core processor from the Tiger Lake-U generation that Peladn claims delivers performance comparable to the older Intel Core i5 8265U. The company designed the chassis to fit in the palm of a hand, measuring just 115 by 106 by 37 millimeters. It weighs 290 grams, making it easy to transport between desks or home setups.

Connectivity is a strong point for this small box, featuring four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and two HDMI 2.0 outputs. A 10Gbps USB Type-C port adds DisplayPort 1.2 support, which enables the triple-display configuration. The system also includes a Gigabit Ethernet jack, a 3.5mm audio port, and built-in WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connections.
Storage expansion is flexible thanks to three M.2 slots, although the system memory is soldered to the motherboard. Buyers can choose between an 8GB RAM configuration with a 256GB SSD or a 16GB RAM version with a 512GB SSD. The 8GB model costs CNY 1,189 (around $175), while the 16GB version is priced at CNY 1,699 (around $250). Peladn has not yet announced plans to release the WI-7 in markets outside of China.
We looked at other budget mini PCs earlier while tracking Intel Tiger Lake-U releases, and this model fits that same affordable niche. The WI-7 confirms that palm-sized form factors can still offer robust I/O and upgradeable storage at entry-level prices. Users in China can currently purchase the device, while international buyers will need to wait for further distribution news.
