DreadXP horror game launches on Switch 2 and Game Pass on October 22
The title comes from developer DreadXP and places players in the role of Gordon, a repairman. According to the developer, you must shut down the sudden broadcast of a canceled children’s TV show titled “The Friendly Neighborhood.” The game combines routine repair duties with surreal horror to create a unique atmosphere on the Switch 2.
My Friendly Neighborhood first launched for PC via Steam on July 18, 2023. It subsequently expanded to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on July 17, 2025. This new Switch 2 release brings the existing game to a new platform, allowing players to experience the story on a handheld device.
The game will also be available via Game Pass for subscribers. This inclusion provides an additional way for players to access the title without a separate purchase. Offering the game through both retail and subscription channels expands its reach to a wider audience.
