MSI has introduced the Pro Max 271UPXW12G, a new QD OLED monitor designed for professional workflows and macOS compatibility. The display targets users who need high color accuracy and reliable connectivity for Apple devices.
Professional display features scratch-resistant panel and USB-C power delivery for Apple devices
The monitor features a 26.5-inch QD OLED panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. It supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz and delivers peak HDR brightness of 1,000 nits. The screen covers 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color space and 97.5 percent of Adobe RGB.
- Panel Type: QD OLED

MSI includes two USB-C ports with power delivery capabilities. One port provides up to 98 watts for charging MacBooks, while a second port supplies 15 watts. Connectivity options also include two HDMI 2.1 inputs and one DisplayPort 1.4a output.
The display ships with a height-adjustable stand and built-in stereo speakers rated at 2.5 watts each. MSI applies a proprietary coating called DarkArmor to the screen surface. The company claims this treatment makes blacks appear 40 percent darker in daylight conditions.
MSI states that the DarkArmor coating also increases scratch resistance by 2.5 times compared to standard panels. These performance claims are attributed directly to the manufacturer and have not been independently verified. The monitor is expected to appeal to users who prioritize color fidelity and desk versatility.
