An 81-year-old Minecraft streamer named Sue Jacquot, known online as Gramma Crackers, recently revealed that her grandson Jack became the target of a swatting incident. The event took place on May 18 at their home in Arizona. Authorities dispatched 20 police cars and five SWAT officers to the location along with drones.

Jack was recovering from cancer treatment during the incident. He had to exit the house while keeping his arms straight out due to side effects from chemotherapy that weakened his muscles. He later told Jacquot that he feared authorities would shoot him if he dropped an arm, which made the situation particularly frightening for him.
Police arrived after receiving a false report claiming Jack shot Jacquot and planned to commit suicide. The person who made the call used a fake French accent during the hoax. Authorities are currently investigating the identity of the individual responsible for the incident.
The viral nature of the story led to a significant increase in donations for Jack's GoFundMe campaign. The fundraising page surpassed $100,000 following widespread attention on social media platforms. Jacquot described the entire ordeal as kinda fun despite the serious circumstances.
