Lucebox now allows customers to order its AI workstation directly through its website, ending the previous process where buyers had to submit requests for manual review. This shift to direct sales gives developers and enterprises immediate access to a system designed for heavy local AI workloads. Buyers can now secure a machine with substantial memory and graphics resources without waiting for a sales representative to approve an inquiry.

Direct ordering replaces manual review for the Strix Halo-based system

The workstation centers on 's Ryzen AI Max+ 395 Strix Halo APU paired with a discrete Radeon AI Pro R9700 GPU. This hardware combination provides 128 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 unified system memory and an additional 32 GB of GDDR6 VRAM on the graphics card. The system fits into an 11.97-litre aluminium enclosure and includes a 2 TB NVMe SSD for storage.

Lucebox reports that the system can run the 284-billion-parameter DeepSeek V4 Flash model, achieving a claimed 86 tokens per second during decoding. The company notes that these performance figures come from specific test setups and quantisation methods that may differ from other benchmarks. Alessandro Puppo, Lucebox co-founder, stated that a price increase is coming soon, though he did not specify the amount.

Batch 3 of the workstation has sold out, and orders for Batch 4 are expected to ship in November 2026. The current direct ordering page reflects the existing $5,999 and $7,999 price points before the anticipated increase. This availability window gives interested buyers a clear timeline for when they might receive the hardware if they order now.
