Neowiz released version 1.14.0.0 of Lies of P on October 1, bringing targeted fixes for the Nintendo Switch 2. This update matters to Switch 2 owners because it resolves technical issues that disrupt gameplay and system integration. Players on other platforms also receive a visual correction for a specific item.
Patch 1.14 resolves controller pairing glitches and sleep mode tracking errors
The patch addresses a persistent input bug on the Switch 2 where previous controller inputs remained active during pairing pop-ups. This issue also caused video and audio to become desynchronized when those pop-ups appeared during cutscenes. The developer fixed the problem so the game responds correctly to player commands without lag or drift.
Another Switch 2 fix prevents the game from accumulating playtime while the console is in sleep mode. This ensures that session tracking remains accurate even if the system enters standby. The update also corrects a cross-platform visual bug where the fur collar on The Great Venigni’s Signature Coat appeared in the wrong color.
Neowiz warns that using unofficial software or data modifications may cause crashes or irreversible data loss. The developer did not provide a price or availability date for this specific update, as it is a standard patch. Players should install the update to ensure stable performance on their chosen platform.
