Lenovo released a maxed-out Yoga Pro 16 convertible laptop in China featuring an Nvidia RTX 5070 GPU, 64 GB of RAM, and a 2 TB SSD. Priced at $3,679 to $4,856.

Lenovo released the newest version of its Yoga Pro 16 convertible laptop in China. The new configuration targets creative professionals with a significant upgrade to the graphics subsystem. It pairs a high-end mobile processor with a beefier GPU and larger memory capacity.

New configuration pairs Core Ultra 9 processor with beefier graphics subsystem for creative professionals.

The device features a Core Ultra 9 386H processor paired with an RTX 5070 graphics card. This GPU variant includes 12 GB of GDDR7 VRAM and operates at a 115W TDP. The system also boosts the main memory to 64 GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

Spec comparison

  • GPU: Nvidia RTX 5070 (12 GB GDDR7 VRAM, 115W TDP)
  • RAM: 64 GB LPDDR5X
  • Storage: 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD (M.2 2280 dual-bay)
  • Processor: Core Ultra 9 386H
  • Display: 16-inch tandem OLED touchscreen, 1600 nits HDR peak brightness, 120 Hz dynamic refresh rate

Lenovo equipped the laptop with a 16-inch tandem OLED touchscreen display. The panel supports a 120 Hz dynamic refresh rate and reaches up to 1600 nits of HDR peak brightness. Storage comes in the form of a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD configured for an M.2 2280 dual-bay setup.

The aluminum chassis measures just 0.68 inches thick and weighs slightly over four pounds at 1.9 kg. It houses a large 92.5 Wh battery that Lenovo claims can deliver up to 18.5 hours of endurance. The system includes enhanced cooling for the GPU, Dolby Atmos sound subsystem, and a Wacom-powered touchpad for pen input.

Lenovo sells this configuration in China at two price points depending on local subsidies. The base model costs 24,999 yuan CNY (about $3,679), while the fully loaded version lists at 32,999 yuan CNY (about $4,856). These figures reflect direct pricing from Lenovo with available regional discounts.

The new Yoga Pro 16 builds on earlier reports of a convertible laptop trim featuring Nvidia RTX 5070 graphics. Industry analysis suggests the actual benchmark performance difference against an RTX 5060 would barely hit 20 percent, but the 12 GB VRAM offers distinct advantages for creative workflows.

Lenovo has not yet announced when or if this model will arrive in global markets like the US. The current release remains limited to China, and pricing for international regions is still unknown.
