IQUNIX has released two new mechanical keyboards themed around the anime Ghost in the Shell, and they target competitive gamers who need every millisecond of advantage. The EV63 Ghost in the Shell Edition adds a high-speed polling rate and magnetic switch technology to a premium aluminum chassis. This combination matters because it reduces input lag for players in fast-paced shooters like VALORANT.

Two colorways ship with 8K polling and magnetic switches

The product line includes two distinct colorways: the lighter-colored Shell Core and the darker Cyber Blue. Both models share the same EV63 hardware foundation and feature a full CNC machined aluminum shell. IQUNIX positions these keyboards for users who want durable hardware with a specific aesthetic appeal.

Specifications

  • Polling Rate: 8K (8,000 Hz)
  • Switch Type: KEYTOK Nova magnetic switches
  • Keycaps: Double-shot PBT, frosted translucent
  • Chassis: Full CNC machined aluminum
  • Price: $249.99 USD

The keyboards use KEYTOK Nova magnetic switches that support an 8K (8,000 Hz) polling rate. These switches offer 0.01mm Rapid Trigger accuracy, which allows for precise actuation adjustments. The keycaps are made of double-shot PBT plastic, and the set includes a selection of frosted translucent keys for visual contrast.

IQUNIX claims that the firmware delivers the fastest trigger and release latency based on internal testing. The company states that professional VALORANT teams are already using these keyboards in competition. These features aim to provide a tangible edge in competitive play by minimizing the time between physical input and digital response.

Both the Shell Core and Cyber Blue editions are priced at $249.99 USD (around $250). Priced at $249.99 USD (around $250), the keyboards are positioned in the high-end segment of the mechanical keyboard market. Buyers looking for Ghost in the Shell merchandise or top-tier gaming peripherals will find these options available at this specific cost.
