iQOO announced the iQOO 15T on May 15, 2026, positioning the device as a performance-focused flagship for the Chinese market. The company highlighted the smartphone's ability to sustain high gaming performance while managing power consumption effectively. This announcement marks the brand's entry into the next generation of Android-based gaming hardware with the release of OriginOS 6.

New flagship smartphone with high-performance gaming chip and large battery capacity

The iQOO 15T features a 6.82-inch flat display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen utilizes an 8T LTPO structure and BOE's Q10+ substrate to manage efficiency and image quality. Under the hood, the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset paired with iQOO's self-developed Q3 gaming chip. The phone supports full-scene ray tracing and can output 2K resolution at 144 frames per second in supported games.

Powering the device is an 8000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 100W fast wired charging. The camera system includes a 200-megapixel main rear sensor with CIPA 4.5-level stabilization and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. A 16-megapixel front camera handles selfies, while a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor provides security. The phone measures between 8.25mm and 8.4mm in thickness and weighs approximately 216 grams. It also carries IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.

iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 15T will launch in China with an availability date listed as to be determined. The company has not yet announced official pricing for the device. Global availability remains unconfirmed as iQOO has not stated whether the phone will launch outside of China.
