Incursion Red River Update Adds New Outskirts Map and Nine Weapons

Games of Tomorrow has shared details about the next update for Incursion Red River. The update will introduce a new map called Outskirts. It is the first environment in the game to feature multi-faction gameplay.

Outskirts is a hotzone where the IGC controls the airfield and UICS holds the main boulevard. The VLF is fragmented in the jungle between them. The developer aims for a more modern feel as the map moves closer to an urban landscape. Nine new weapons are planned for future updates. They include the KEL-TEC RFB, Ruger LC Carbine, M14 Carbine, Morinco M305, AS VAL, VSS Vintorez, KAC LAMG, Makarov PM, and MK47.

The existing Delta map will receive more interior sections and additional loot spots. Scopes, movement, traversal, audio, and music are also set to be improved. Performance optimization and quality-of-life changes such as backpack stacking are in the works.

The developer has not confirmed a release date for the update. Insider Gaming reported the information from Games of Tomorrow.
