A fan developer has released an unofficial Android port of the PS2 cult classic ICO, adding touch controls, widescreen support, and graphical enhancements.

The cult classic ICO from the PS2 is now playable on Android devices with a fan port! Now Fumito Ueda's first title can be played on mobile devices in a new medium. This is a great way to play ICO outside of the PS2 for those who may have missed out on that era.

Fan developer nathanialf releases unofficial port for Android 10+ devices

A fan developer known as nathanialf is bringing ICO over to Android (Android 10 or higher). You'll need to provide the game image (european version SCES-50760). The dev doesn't provide the game. Its a play your own port.

The original game UI was brought over and touch inputs were added. There's also widescreen support. There are settings to boost resolution and FPS for better playability. There are also options for anti-aliasing, better texture filtering and turning off motion blur.

The port right now only works with the European ISO version. Other regions of ICO are not supported with this build. This means you'll have to find that SCES-50760 image in order to play it.

ICO is a special title from Ueda before Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian. This Android port gives modern gamers a chance to play it on a different platform. This is a great way to experience it in a new way without changing the design.
