Strange Scaffold is bringing its revenge thriller I Am Your Beast to Nintendo consoles for the first time. This release matters because Switch 2 and Switch owners can finally play the game that originally launched on PC in September 2024. You will get the full experience alongside a new story expansion on the same day.
Switch 2 and Switch owners get the full game and prequel DLC on the same day
The developer is releasing the base game on Switch 2 and Switch on October 20. This date matches the launch of the new downloadable content called Quitting Time for the PC version. The game follows a covert agent named Alphonse Harding in a narrative that challenges his beliefs about the American military-industrial complex.

Quitting Time adds a fully voiced prequel campaign to the existing library. Players will fight through 10 brand-new levels set in a Southeast Asia biome. The expansion introduces a new NPC faction called the Patriotic Defense League as the primary adversary.
The base game features replayable micro-sandboxes where players chase side objectives for fast times. The DLC includes an original soundtrack from Chicago producer Kalibration. We looked at the last I Am Your Beast update earlier while tracking balance and stability themes in the series.
Strange Scaffold founder Xalavier Nelson Jr. said the team enjoys adding more levels and tools for players. The developer confirmed that thousands of people still discover the game every month. The release completes the transition of the title to major console platforms after its initial PC launch.
