Huawei is rolling out a new software update for the Pura X Max. The update, version HarmonyOS 6.1.0.125 SP13, arrives as a 1.67 GB download. It brings several new features and improvements to the foldable smartphone.
Update adds camera watermark and single-app volume
The Pura X Max is Huawei's latest foldable smartphone. It runs on the Kirin 9030 Pro processor and supports 5A network speeds. The device is the first Huawei foldable to include the Xiaoyi Companion AI assistant.

The update adds a limited-time camera watermark valid until September 15, 2026. It also introduces single-app volume adjustment, letting users control audio per application. The Bumper Park theme gains new 3D clock styles and charging animations.
Huawei says the update optimizes system stability in certain scenarios and improves system extension capabilities. These changes aim to make the phone more reliable and versatile.
The Pura X Max is available in China starting at 10999 CNY (about $1,620) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. Higher configurations include 12GB with 512GB for 11999 CNY (about $1,768), and Collector's Edition models with 16GB RAM and 512GB or 1TB storage for 12999 CNY (about $1,915) and 13999 CNY (about $2,062) respectively. The phone officially launched on April 25, 2026.
The update is now being delivered to Pura X Max units in China. Users can expect improved system performance and new customization options.
