Geekom has released the A9 Max 2026 mini-PC globally. The company updated its popular A9 Max line with a new model featuring the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor. This chip belongs to the Gorgon Point family and offers a modest performance improvement over the previous generation's Strix Point APU. The new model still falls short of the performance provided by the A9 Mega, which uses the more powerful Strix Halo processor.

The A9 Max 2026 includes 32 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage. Geekom equipped the device with its third-generation IceBlast cooling system. The company claims this new cooling solution is 52% more efficient, although it has not confirmed the baseline for this measurement. The mini-PC retains the same port selection as its predecessor. Users get dual USB4 ports, a 2.5 Gigabit LAN port, and five USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports.
Geekom priced the A9 Max 2026 at $1,799 USD (about $1,799) in the US. This price represents a discount from the $2,299 MSRP for the 32 GB RAM and 2 TB storage configuration. The company charges £1,599 GBP (about $2,164) for the same setup in the UK. Customers in the Eurozone can purchase the unit for €1,699 EUR (about $1,994).
Geekom is already selling the new mini-PC on Amazon Germany, Amazon Spain, and Amazon UK. The original A9 Max launched in August 2025 with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. That model helped establish the A9 Max as one of the most powerful mini-PCs Geekom had reviewed at the time. The new 2026 edition continues this trend with updated internal components and a refreshed cooling approach.
Geekom has not confirmed the launch window for the A9 Max 2026. The vendor also has not clarified against what metric the IceBlast 3.0 efficiency gain is measured. The product remains available for purchase in the regions where it is listed.
