Playground Games has announced that the upcoming racing simulation Forza Horizon 6 will feature Japan as its primary setting. The developer confirmed this detail alongside a review embargo schedule for major gaming media outlets.

Insider Gaming stated it has received a review copy of the title and plans to publish its full assessment on May 14, 2026. The release window begins at 8 am ET or 5 am PT depending on the region.

The game has reportedly gone Gold two weeks ahead of its official launch date. This milestone indicates that the final version is locked and ready for distribution to retailers and digital storefronts globally.
