Epic Games has launched a new Fortnite island that offers a watch party for the first ten minutes of the upcoming film The Mandalorian and Grogu. The island is available now, ahead of the movie's release on Friday, May 22.
Island offers first ten minutes of film
The island was created using Fairview Portals with a Star Wars toolkit. It features Nevarro architecture, quests, duels, and speeder bikes. Players who spend at least 20 minutes on the island will earn an exclusive Mandalorian Sanctuary Loading Screen reward. Additionally, a Mandalorian Pen and Ink Outfit is available in the item shop starting May 21.
Epic Games has described the experience as their most immersive Fortnite island yet. The island also includes a special message from director Jon Favreau. A Q&A session with Favreau is scheduled for May 26.
The Mandalorian and Grogu Watch Party Island is now live globally. Epic Games has not confirmed whether additional rewards or events will be added in the future.
