Evercade Doom Collection Launches Oct 30 With Exclusive Modifiers
GAMES

Blaze Entertainment released the Evercade Doom Collection on October 30, bringing the classic id Software shooters to portable hardware. This cartridge update matters to retro handheld owners because it adds significant content to the Evercade ecosystem without requiring new console purchases. Players can finally access the complete Doom experience on the go using existing Evercade devices.

Cartridge includes full Doom legacy and new violence settings

The collection serves as a comprehensive software package for the Evercade and HyperMegaTech Super Pocket platforms. It includes native ports of the original Doom and Doom 2, along with the TNT: Evilution and The Plutonia Experiment expansions. The cartridge also contains the Master Levels for Doom II, No Rest for the Living, SIGIL, SIGIL II, and the Doom: Deathmatch Pack.

  • Included Games: Doom, Doom 2, TNT: Evilution, The Plutonia Experiment, Master Levels for Doom II, No Rest for the Living, SIGIL, SIGIL II, Doom: Deathmatch Pack
  • Exclusive Gameplay Modifiers: Turbo Monsters, Double Monsters, Explosive Deaths, Revenge Barrels, Vampire Mode, No Monsters
  • New Violence Settings: Increased blood, 'Shotgun Close Encounter', 'Chainsaw Massacre' modifiers
  • Compatible Devices: Every Evercade and HyperMegaTech Super Pocket device, including Evercade Nexus

Blaze Entertainment added exclusive gameplay modifiers that change how players experience the campaigns. These features include Turbo Monsters, Double Monsters, Explosive Deaths, Revenge Barrels, and Vampire Mode. The collection also introduces a No Monsters mode for players who prefer to focus on exploration. New violence settings allow users to increase blood effects or enable Shotgun Close Encounter and Chainsaw Massacre modifiers.

The Doom Collection works with every Evercade and HyperMegaTech Super Pocket device released by the company. This compatibility list includes the upcoming Evercade Nexus handheld console. Users do not need to buy a new system to play these titles, as the cartridge supports the entire existing hardware line. We looked at the Evercade Nexus DOOM Edition Bundle Hits earlier while tracking related hardware releases.

The Evercade Doom Collection is now available globally as of October 30. This release expands the library of available titles for Evercade cartridge users. The product brings the full Doom legacy to portable devices with additional customization options.
