Embracer Group is creating a new independent company called Fellowship Entertainment. This spin-off moves several major game studios and valuable intellectual properties out of the parent organization. The restructuring aims to establish a dedicated entity focused on managing these specific assets.
New entity takes over premium game franchises including Tomb Raider, Metro, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Fellowship Entertainment will take stewardship over premium franchises including Tomb Raider, Metro, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Dead Island, Darksiders, and Remnant. A significant number of development studios are transferring to the new entity. These include 4A Games, Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montréal, Dambuster Studios, Warhorse Studios, Flying Wild Hog, Fishlabs, Gunfire Studios, Redoctane Games, Middle-earth Enterprises, and Dark Horse Media.

The company plans to operate with a multi-year pipeline of new games. Fellowship Entertainment expects at least two major game releases per year starting in the fiscal year 2027/28. The organization aims to build an IP management and licensing engine to expand these worlds across partnerships and adjacent categories. This strategy targets recurring, higher-margin revenue streams.
Embracer Group will retain several other studios after the split. These remaining entities include THQ Nordic, Tripwire Interactive, Zen Studios, Milestone, Bugbear Entertainment, Tarsier Studios, and others. The exact financial terms of this corporate spin-off remain undisclosed in available reports.
