Surveillance puzzler expands to home consoles after PC debut
This gives people even more ways to play the game outside of the initial PC release. It gives us console gamers the opportunity to experience the puzzle aspects of the game along with its story. We can play it on a dedicated piece of hardware now instead of just a computer.
Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 is getting its console ports developed by Fictiorama Studios and published by Joystick Ventures. The game originally launched on PC via Steam on May 25th, 2023. So, you could say that Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 has had its base game established before this new port over to console. This means that you get to play the same stuff on PS4 and Switch that you would have had access to on PC for over a year.
It's interesting that Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 has an 81 Metascore on Metacritic. It's pretty nice to see that critics have enjoyed the game for the most part. This is what you can expect from the game on consoles, with the score coming from the initial PC release. It's a pretty high number to score for the game, meaning that the core of it has been pretty well-received with critics and players.
A lot of the balance and stability issues mentioned in our last update of Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 were still present. The new console release is continuing with the same sort of trend in an attempt to refine the game experience for a wider audience. You can pick up Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 on both platforms now.
