Dell introduced the 14S laptop to offer a lightweight aluminum alternative for users who prioritize portability and battery life. This new device targets mainstream buyers looking for a balance between performance and everyday usability. We see this as a practical option for students and remote workers who need a machine that fits easily into a bag without sacrificing screen clarity. The 14S addresses the growing demand for thin-and-light laptops that can handle long days on a single charge.
Lightweight aluminum design targets mainstream users with long battery life
The system runs on Intel Core 5 Series 3 or Core 7 Series 3 processors paired with 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. Dell designed the chassis to be remarkably thin at just 13.5mm while keeping the weight down to approximately 2.5 pounds. This compact form factor makes it easy to carry around campus or between meeting rooms. The aluminum build provides a sturdy feel without adding unnecessary bulk to your daily carry.
