Pearl Abyss released update 1.000.423 for Crimson Desert on July 31, bringing a major overhaul to the game's trading systems. This patch shifts the economic focus toward expanded logistics and higher-volume commerce, directly impacting how players manage resources and profit. Buyers who rely on trade routes will see immediate changes to their daily economic loops.

Patch 1.16 expands trade goods and adjusts bank interest caps

The update, designated as Version 1.16, introduces 133 new trading posts across the game world. It also adds 24 new high-value trade goods and 4 new regular trade goods to the market. These additions expand the variety of items players can buy and sell to generate income.

Pearl Abyss added 7 wagon workshops in Pywel that function as intermediate trading posts. The patch adjusts banking mechanics by capping the maximum gold bars gained or lost through interest at 40. PC players also benefit from the implementation of SDK 2.3.0 for improved graphics scaling.

We looked at the last Crimson Desert update earlier while tracking recent patch notes, and the current release continues that trend of stability improvements. The team fixed numerous bugs related to quests, combat controls, and graphical glitches on all platforms. These changes aim to smooth out the player experience without altering the core game structure.

This patch confirms the direction Pearl Abyss is taking with Crimson Desert's economy and technical stability. The new trading infrastructure and interest caps provide clearer boundaries for player wealth accumulation. Players can now access the expanded trade goods and workshops immediately following the July 31 release.
