Pearl Abyss released the latest major update for Crimson Desert, and this brings the game to version 1.13.0 on all platforms. This patch expands endgame content by allowing new characters to enter the Abyss. Players who enjoy challenging boss fights will find fresh gear and mechanics to tackle. The update also addresses technical stability across consoles and PCs.

New characters and gear expand endgame Abyss content
The update introduces two new Abyss characters, Oongka and Damiane. These additions change how players approach specific boss encounters. The patch notes specify that Memory Fragment locations for bosses have been adjusted. This shift requires players to relearn the layout of these high-difficulty zones.
Pearl Abyss added 39 new pieces of equipment for Kliff and Oongka. The team also included 8 new pieces of equipment for Damiane. These items include boss gear and armor sets. The console build for this release is 1.000.379. This version number tracks the specific build deployed to PlayStation and Xbox systems.
The developers introduced a new item called the Hunter's Sigil. This item allows bird pets to retrieve prey and gatherables. The update also fixed various combat, UI, and graphics issues. PS5 players will notice reduced cutscene stuttering and faster loading times. Previously undyeable disguise outfits and most weapons can now be dyed.
When we covered the last Crimson Desert update, several of the same balance and stability themes came up. This release continues that pattern by focusing on character expansion and technical fixes. The new gear and Abyss access provide immediate content for active players. The dyeing feature adds cosmetic flexibility to existing character builds.
