Cliff Bleszinski, the creator of Gears of War, has shared new details about a game concept he still wants to make called Hollow Point. He described the project as a mix of John Wick, Carrie, and Lovecraft Country.
A concept blending John Wick, Carrie, and Lovecraft Country
The game is set in a New England town during fall. It features two protagonists: an ex-marine with PTSD and a young woman with psychic abilities. The plot involves a storm that causes Lovecraftian horrors to emerge. Bleszinski said the ex-marine's aim remains steady even if he might be seeing monsters. The young woman starts with limited abilities but becomes nearly a god by the end, growing more powerful as she becomes more frightened.
Bleszinski has not announced a publisher or development studio for Hollow Point. It remains a personal project he hopes to make one day.
The concept draws on familiar horror and action themes but combines them in a unique way. Bleszinski has not confirmed any timeline or platform for the game.
