Limited edition timepiece features Pikachu hand and retro color scheme

The watch builds on the proven G-Shock GA-110 platform, which provides shock resistance and water resistance for daily wear. Casio customized the exterior to reflect the original 1996 Pokémon Red, Green, and Blue games through a specific color palette. The design integrates several iconic symbols directly into the hardware. A Poké Ball inset sits at the 9 o'clock position on the dial. The hour hand features a distinct Pikachu shape. The design elements add a themed appearance to the standard watch model.

Specifications

  • Model: GA-110PKM-7A
  • Base Model: GA-110
  • Color Palette: Red, blue, and green
  • Dial Design: Poké Ball inset at 9 o'clock
  • Indicator Hand: Pikachu shape

The translucent band displays 30 different Pokémon characters, continuing the anniversary theme across the entire device. Casio engraved the official 30th anniversary logo on the case back for added authenticity. The model carries the specific identifier GA-110PKM-7A to distinguish it from other GA-110 variations. The combination of the red, blue, and green colors creates a cohesive look that references the original game cartridges. The watch maintains the core functions of the base GA-110 model while incorporating specific visual design elements.

The retail price is 33,000 JPY (around $204). Casio scheduled the launch in Japan for July 17. The company will distribute the watches through a lottery system rather than open retail. The watch is available through a lottery system in Japan. The release is currently restricted to the Japanese market with no immediate plans for global distribution.
