A big Borderlands 4 update went live on October 22 from Gearbox. This fix contains a lot of stability and balancing changes. Everyone should update their game across all platforms.
Patch 1.110 balances Vault Hunters and fixes gameplay blockers across all platforms
Get this patch to correct specific issues that have impacted recent gameplay for many players. Borderlands 4 update 1.110 focuses on base game and DLC issues to make for a more consistent experience regardless of save files. This update is important for anyone who may be dealing with some character-based bugs or blockers.
All platforms are affected by this update. This includes PC, Playstation, and Xbox. Those on console can find this new update as version string 01.110.000.
Those on PC will see the game update to version 1.110. Gearbox has rolled out these changes across the board on all platforms at the same time to keep one player pool. This universal change aims to make sure that no one is left out when updating to this new patch version.

This update contains things like decreased pop-in for foliage and cloth. This should help with some of the visual stuttering during high-intensity combat. Screen shake is capped to help with motion sickness and overall clarity for fast-paced gameplay moments.
For those playing Steam Deck, FSR options are now available in the Steam Performance menu. This can help to tweak frame rates more for those playing on handheld systems. Again, these updates are more geared to performance stability than any content additions.
For balance, Gearbox has focused on character balance. The Vault Hunters being changed include Loveless, C4SH, Amon, Harlowe, Rafa, and Vex. Individual changes include mission states errors for Story Pack 2 for FL4K.
This can include things like removing the invincibility on Lieutenant Harmony. For Bounty Pack 5, Amara will now have the right boss availability for the Big Encore. Also, there will be no arena blockers. Gearbox’s goal here is to fix broken quests and the ability to have fair fights for all character builds.
