Bandai Namco Entertainment is opening applications for a closed beta test of Bleach Mirrors High, a new mobile game based on the popular anime series. This opportunity matters to fans who want to experience the latest installment in the franchise before its wider release. The developer is inviting players to test the game's mechanics and story content during a limited window.

Tite Kubo designs new Soul Reapers for mobile beta

The game features two new Soul Reapers, Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari, with designs created by series creator Tite Kubo. Kubo worked on the title, scenario, and character designs from the kickoff meeting, ensuring the characters matched his original vision. He also participated in audition and recording sessions to help shape the final product.

Bleach Mirrors High supports English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese languages. The game runs on Android devices with OS version 12.0 or higher and a minimum of 6 GB of RAM. iOS users need version 17.0 or higher with at least 4 GB of RAM to play.

The closed beta test runs from July 22 at 11:00 P.M. PDT to July 29 at 10:59 P.M. PDT. The game is compatible with mobile phones only and does not support tablets. Players can expect a story that is partly related to the main scenario of the comics.

Tite Kubo stated, "For this project, I have been involved from the kickoff meeting and worked on the title, scenario, and character designs. As for character designs, I got so excited working on them and ended up doing more than what was requested. For the logo design, I wanted to come up with something that resembles my style. I made it simple, yet something that will leave an impression the moment you see it. I sat in on the audition and also took part in the recording sessions, so the characters turned out just as I imagined. The story is partly related to the main scenario of the comics, so I hope you look forward to that too."

We looked at other Bleach mobile titles earlier while tracking franchise expansions. The beta test offers a chance to see how Kubo's new characters integrate into the existing world. Applications are now open for eligible players to join the test.
