Belkin has released a new accessory for the Nintendo Switch 2: the Charging Grip. This modular grip attaches to the console and improves ergonomics during handheld play. The design allows players to detach controllers without removing the case, simplifying dock transitions.

Modular grip attaches to console and includes optional magnetic power bank

The grip consists of three parts: a rear cover that fits over the back of the Switch 2 and two gaming grips for the Joy-Con 2 controllers. The modular setup lets users remove the controllers while keeping the protective shell in place. This design also means you do not need to take off the case when docking the console.

  • Power Bank Capacity: 10,000mAh
  • Power Output: 30W
  • Cable Type: Integrated braided USB-C cable
  • Display Feature: Shows battery percentage and charging icon

An optional magnetic power bank attaches to the rear cover. It features a 10,000mAh capacity and delivers up to 30W of output through an integrated braided USB-C cable. The power bank includes a small display that shows battery percentage and a charging icon. Belkin claims it can provide about one and a half full charges per cycle.

The Charging Grip comes in three colors: Black, Lilac, and Olive. Each color matches the optional magnetic power bank. The rear cover has an opening for the Switch 2's built-in kickstand. You can buy the grip with the battery pack or without it.

Belkin sells the full set with the magnetic power bank for $99.99 USD. The charging grip alone costs $39.99 USD. Both versions are available now on Belkin's website and Amazon.
