has teased KONKR Pocket BLOCK, a new vertical Android handheld under its KONKR sub-brand. The company calls it the “world’s first AI gaming handheld,” although it has not yet explained what the AI features will do.

Vertical Android handheld teased with AI branding but no confirmed specs or launch date

The teaser was part of AYANEO’s May 21 product sharing session. The company used the event to outline a broader shift from AYANEO Gaming to AYANEO AI. For now, Pocket BLOCK appears to be the first product tied to that new direction.

AYANEO says Pocket BLOCK is a vertical Android gaming handheld with a compact and lightweight form factor. The device uses a design language that mixes retro handheld elements with a more modern shell. The company also says the product is meant to support personalization.

There are no confirmed hardware specs yet. AYANEO has not listed the processor, display size, display resolution, memory, storage, battery capacity, price, or launch window. This means the AI claim should be treated as branding until the company explains the feature set.

Pocket BLOCK is separate from the company’s other Android and Windows handhelds. More information is expected later, but the first reveal suggests that KONKR will be used for more experimental hardware than AYANEO’s main product line.
